Last week my 5 Things to do to Get Rid of Stress post got really popular so it seemed only fitting that I, once again, do an extension of that post. I really liked writing that last post, and since there are some other things I do or you can do that will help reduce stress, I thought I should share them with ya’ll. So here’s five more things to do to get rid of stress! 1 YOGA HELPS REDUCE STRESS Freaking yoga. And I’m not even talking about the cliche ‘om’ with crossed legs and closed eyes, no. No, I’m talking about real actual yoga. I don’t do yoga regularly, but when I have something stressful like a debate or something coming up, I’ll do it. I’ve mentioned this before in a million other posts, but if my desk space is not organised and clean and fresh, I cannot work in there–I simply cannot. I will not be able to focus. I’ll keep on drifting back to the messy little desk. A clean workspace helps me get zoned in to what I’m doing. So here’s how to organize your desk space.  I personally work on my desk, which is very hard to maintain and keep clean, especially since it is so massive. But whatever your space of work is, it’s important to keep it clean for a number of reasons, the first being that it will never let you focus. Things lying around will disrupt your sitting position or may discomfort you. And it really doesn’t look that good. So here are 6 ways to organize your desk space. For a second, stop and think about stock photos. Now let’s be real. Taking photos is hard and time consuming. Not everyone is the best photographer, or knows one. Which means most of us are on our own. This is really hard. Sometimes you have to take photos of yourself. This is even harder, especially for taking the perfect shot, like a full-length or a really artistic shot. As important as photos are, not all of us are great photographers. I like realistic things in reality—fantasy belongs where it is—and in saying that I am in no way contradicting the fact that fictional characters aren’t real—they very much are—but let’s face it: reality is reality. So this may sound cheesy, but it is an important step to being a better person. Secondly, if you’re thinking why a thirteen-year-old boy is teaching you this, it’s because I’m not—my grandfather is. So now that we have gotten that across, let’s dive in. BE DETERMINED TO BE POSITIVE I don’t know how many times I have said this—it feels like a million times, because I…

So today I’m going to be talking about my editing process, or, to put it in simply, how I edit my books. First of all, of course, a disclaimer: I am not a professional in this field whatsoever, these are just the things that I have found to be problematic in my writing and wish to fix. This is only my opinion. Secondly, the books mentioned below are not extra ordinary or flawless in any way; I wrote them when I was still nine and eleven and I personally wish to remove them from existence, if I could (that’s part of why I created my ‘Carleton’ identity) but, however, if you wish to learn more about these in depth, feel free to click here. But with that being said, continue reading for some bonus editing tips and also, do what I say, not what I do. GOALS First things first,…
